The book is the sequel to the Chinese Express?Talk Chinese. It uses Pinyin, Chinese characters and English throughout the book in the same way as its predecessor. New content and exercises have been introduced in this edition to further develop the learners’conversational skills. Suitable for learners who wish to continue learning Chinese after having completed a beginner's course of the language, the book contains a total of 25 lessons with one summary lesson following every four main lessons. Each main lesson starts with a short text that reviews previous lessons which can be used as either general reading material or a translation exercise. It contains around 520 of the most frequently used Chinese words and expressions, as well as 44 of the most commonly used phrases.
