It is not easy to explain how the word cancer can so drastically alter the course of our lives. I thought I was brimming with life while unbeknownst to me diseased cells kept multiplying inside my body, taking me, step by step, closer to death. Although the fight has not been easy, facing the distinct possibility of death has allowed me to rearrange my priorities and revise the way I view life. I hope that my story brings the light, hope and the will to fight to people beset by the anguish of this illness. No matter how difficult it gets, life is undoubtedly worth living. Es dificil explicar como la palabra cancer puede cambiarnos la vida de una manera drastica. Mi lucha contra este no ha sido facil pues la vida me cambio radicalmente al enterarme de que, aunque me sentia llena de vida, sin yo siquiera saberlo dentro de mi cuerpo se estaba multiplicando el mal que me acercaba a la muerte. Mi experiencia luchando contra el cancer me ha hecho una mujer mas fuerte, mas segura de mi misma, mas serena y mas en paz conmigo misma y con la vida. Mis prioridades han cambiado porque cuando a la muerte se la ve de cerca cambia la perspectiva de la vida. Espero que a traves de este relato alguien que este plagado de angustia encuentre una esperanza y una razon para luchar, pues a pesar de todo vale la pena vivir!
