About the author: Marianna Quint was born in Oakland California, and is a child of mixed heritage. Marianna grew up in the rough inner city of Los Angeles, in the notoriously violent Watts District. As mixed marriages were not acceptable during that time, Marianna was abandoned and given up to foster care services. Marianna's life was a struggle at best and a tragedy at worst. However the author looks at her heritage from a different light. She says, with the heart and energy of all her ancestors, her goal is to unite 'all to Love'. Marianna's story becomes one not of poverty, crime and loss, but of one of victory, joy and abundance.
